Week 5 at Enrich

Hola. Today at Enrich I played Othlleo. You have to place double sided counters in a slot and flip some as you I won one 56 -7  and lost the other 7-3. We also played a game Two Orange, Two Green. You have to have each bean bag in a colour sequence and a ball before you can sit down. It was fun. Then I  did something on Hurricane Sandy - we used six thinking hats to talk about it. Then we did scamper with Alana - We did the Warehouse.

Waihopai planting day

Another exciting day at Enrich! Today at Enrich we went to the Waihopai River to plant flax and ToiToi. These plants hold back the mud and keep it away from the river. We planted 250 plants  in 2 hours. These plants were planted in a small hole with some felt around them and sticks  to hold a plastic guard around them to protect them from rabbits pukekos and other pests .

Week 2 Term 4

Howdy

Today at Enrich we started the day with a game of "all or nothing" Its like bullseye but you take all or nothing! We also played chess I won one of my games and lost one. Today I did Afective Domain we talked about Adora Svitaki and  we watched a video on her . She talked about a variaty of things one of them was that  you don't let your age hold you back and kids have great ideas (sometimes!) Last of all we designed a garden it was a pick  from the must do's and picks.

Last term of the year, where did the year go? Today we played chess I won but didn't move up . We also played a game called all or nothing it is like a game called bullseye except you have a basket and one been bag . We also had a visit from the C.E.O at the Airport and the Airport group shared their presentation with her . Her name was Chloe Scala .

Last day of term three

Hello

Today was a great day. First we played chess I played Nathan W. He beat me but I almost won. For passion time Hyrum and I made a game on the Macbooks. We made ping pong. Hyrum has finished his and I'm still working on mine. Hopefully I can show you next term. We also did some P4C with Darryn. We talked about: Is it all right for us to pollute? Next time you buy something wrapped in plastic please recycle it. Keep earth clean - it's the only planet we can live on.

Week 9 Term 3

Hello

Enrich was interesting today because we looked at the ten most polluted cities and countries in the world then we looked at the purest / cleanest cities in the world and Ahvaz ,Iran is the most polluted city in the world and the most polluted country is China . The cleanest city in the world is NZ's capital Wellington NZ is also the 6th cleanest country in the world the cleanest is Finland . We also played chess this week and I bet Katie for the second time in a row .

This week

Hello

Today was great. First we played chess I won two of my three games then we played Bullseye again we did some of our environment projects. I made my pages for our fliers. We also watched a video on water pollution. It was disgusting and sad. I learnt that there is a huge lake in Russia called lake Baikal and it is all fresh water.
